3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons hot cocoa mix
2 tablespoons butter
⅓ cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
⅓ cup white chocolate chips
1 can evaporated milk
4 cups ice
whipped cream, marshmallows, or mini chocolate chips to top
Combine sugar, cocoa mix, and butter in double boiler. Stir until melted and a paste forms. Add chocolate chips, continuing to stir. When chips are melted, slowly stir in 1/2 cup of evaporated milk until combined and smooth. It may take a couple minutes. Let cool to room temperature.
In a blender, combine the cooled chocolate mixture, the remaining evaporated milk, and ice in a blender. Blend until no ice chunks remain. Pour into glasses and top with your choice of toppers. Makes two huge servings.
