1 medium green cabbage (about two pounds) cored and shredded
1 seedless English cucumber cut into thin discs
2 teaspoons dried dill
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons kosher salt
4 teaspoons sugar
1/2 cup cold water
Toss the cabbage, cucumber, and dill together. Whisk the vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a small bowl until the salt and sugar dissolve. Pour the dressing over the salad, and let marinate at least 1 hour, tossing occasionally.
