faux gyros

flatbread
faux gyro meat (below)
tzatziki (below)
diced tomatoes
diced cucumbers
kalamata olives
sliced onion

Heat the flatbread under the broiler. Top with remaining ingredients. Fold like a taco and eat.


gyro meat (serves 2)


1/3 lb. sliced roast beef

splash of worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon dried lemon zest
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
olive oil

Heat a dash of olive oil in a skillet over low heat. Add remaining ingredients and stir until meat is hot and spices incorporated.


tzatziki


1/2 cup greek yogurt

1/4 cucumber, chopped
1/8 onion, chopped (or 1/4 teaspoon onion powder)
1/4 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
splash of lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Combine everything but the greek yogurt in a food processor and chop until minced. Strain and stir into the greek yogurt.
